 I have been involved in general fitness for many years - running, swimming, tennis, Yoga, Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Tae Kwon-do.
I have won numerous medals in Tae Kwon-do sparring, often competing against people far younger than me. Amongst the factors that helped me were training programmes that I devised myself, and various motivational techniques and positive thinking.
